I'm a multidisciplinary visual creative with 20+ years of experience leading design at the crossroads of brand, digital, and interactive storytelling. My work lives where creativity meets technology—focused on building meaningful, future-forward experiences that connect people to ideas, products, and brands in new and lasting ways.
Currently, I serve as Design Director at Otherlife.xyz, where I lead creative across Web3, crypto, and emerging tech initiatives. From developing digital ecosystems to crafting immersive brand narratives, I work to translate complex technologies into clear, compelling experiences that resonate with modern audiences.
Alongside my in-house leadership, I also co-founded VALT Creative, a boutique studio where I’ve led multidisciplinary teams on projects spanning brand strategy, identity, and web design. Running an agency sharpened my ability to balance creative direction with business operations—managing clients, timelines, and teams while delivering bold, strategic design solutions.
Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with companies of all sizes—from early-stage startups to global brands like Microsoft, McDonald’s, Warner Bros., NASCAR, and DreamWorks. Regardless of scale, I approach every challenge through a strategic, human-centered lens—using design as a storytelling vehicle that builds trust, drives engagement, and inspires action.
Today, I’m especially passionate about how emerging technologies—like AI, decentralized platforms, and generative tools—can unlock new modes of expression and redefine how brands connect with their audiences. I see technology not as an end in itself, but as a medium for more dynamic, inclusive, and emotionally intelligent storytelling.

As the co-founder and creative lead at VALT Creative, I built and guided a boutique agency specializing in brand strategy, visual identity, and web design for clients across a range of industries. I led every phase of the creative process—from early concepting to final execution—developing strategic and design-driven solutions that included branding, UX/UI design, and digital content. Working closely with clients, I helped shape brand platforms that aligned visual design with core messaging, ensuring consistency across channels and touchpoints. In partnership with my co-founder, I managed day-to-day operations including project pipelines, budgets, and timelines, while also overseeing teams of freelancers and external collaborators. I played a hands-on role in delivering custom websites, marketing materials, and cohesive brand systems that elevated client visibility and impact. Throughout, I maintained a high standard of design thinking, storytelling, and innovation across all work produced by the studio.

At Field Effect, I led the creative direction and art direction, building the brand’s visual identity from the ground up. I was responsible for shaping the overall creative vision and guiding a team of talented designers and motion artists who brought that vision to life across multiple platforms. While I contributed to developing the brand voice, my primary focus was on establishing a cohesive, innovative visual language that positioned the company uniquely in the market. My leadership in creative strategy and design was fundamental to Field Effect’s success during critical growth phases, including multiple funding rounds and the establishment of a strong, engaging online presence. The innovative approach we took to defining the brand’s positioning and voice helped differentiate the company in a competitive landscape, making the creative team a key driver behind Field Effect’s evolving identity and market impact.

At Canopy Growth, I led design and brand development during a pivotal time in the Canadian cannabis industry, as legalization reshaped the market and consumer landscape. As Design Lead, I worked with some of the country’s most prominent cannabis brands to create cohesive identities and innovative product experiences across a range of formats, including pre-rolls, softgels, beverages, and vaporizers. A major highlight of my time at Canopy was leading the design and creative direction for Houseplant, Seth Rogen’s lifestyle cannabis brand. I helped shape the brand’s identity, packaging, and visual language—bringing a thoughtful, elevated approach to both its cannabis products and homeware line. My work focused on blending strategic design with education, accessibility, and brand storytelling to support both product launches and long-term consumer connection in a new and highly regulated space.

At SCS (Schiefer Chopshop), I stepped in as Art Director on short‑term engagements supporting major automotive campaigns. I collaborated with cross‑functional teams—creative strategists, designers, and production leads—to craft cohesive visual narratives that resonated across digital and traditional channels. Despite the condensed timeline, I contributed meaningfully to concept development, art direction, and execution, ensuring each campaign stayed true to brand guidelines while bringing fresh, compelling visuals. My role included guiding design iterations, overseeing consistency across assets, and maintaining high-quality delivery under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced agency setting.

At Fuel Youth Entertainment, I played a key role in conceptualizing and delivering large-scale, multi-channel creative campaigns for global brands including Warner Brothers, Microsoft, NASCAR, and McDonald’s. Working closely with Creative Directors, I helped shape and pitch the strategic vision behind each initiative, ensuring alignment with client goals and audience expectations. I led teams of designers, illustrators, and 3D artists—managing both day-to-day creative execution and long-term brand direction. My responsibilities spanned the full project lifecycle, from early wireframing and prototyping to final delivery across web, mobile, and experiential platforms. Throughout, I focused on translating complex challenges into visually engaging, user-focused solutions—balancing creativity, technical feasibility, and brand consistency. I began my design career with a strong foundation in branding, web, and graphic design at an organization where I had the opportunity to work on high-impact creative projects across both corporate and professional sports sectors. During this time, I designed a wide range of assets, including corporate and NHL league logos, digital and print marketing materials such as posters, banners, and flyers, as well as multiple websites. I played a key role in developing brand identities that aligned with strategic goals—supporting revenue growth, audience engagement, and broader organizational initiatives. My work included layout design for Score and Body Check magazines, distributed to thousands of fans at every home game. A highlight of this period was leading the creative direction and branding for the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship, hosted at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa. I also conceptualized and executed the visual identity for the 2009–2010 “Forever Red” campaign, a major initiative that further solidified the brand's presence and fan connection.
